However, it is imperative to always keep in a positive state of mind in order to overcome this situations. Below, we’ve compiled 8 tips on how you can take control and stay positive in any situation.

The best way to start your health journey is with a glass of water.

1. Keep Goals

Write down a list of goals that you want to achieve. They can be small or large, but keep them with you at all times. We recommend keeping them in your wallet or purse so that they are always with you. Write down anywhere from 10-100 goals, and whenever you find yourself in a tough situation, pull out your goals and read them to yourself. This will shift your focus onto the things that you want, and help keep you a good frequency.

2. Look At Positive Quotes

Keep some of your favorite quotes nearby. On your phone is ideal. We recommend following some motivational accounts on Instagram and pull them up whenever you are in need of positivity.

3. Call a Friend

Whenever you are in a trying time, it is always helpful to give a quick call to a friend or family member who you can talk to. Even texting them with a short “hello” can help get your mind back into a positive state.

4. Stop, Breath, and Re-focus

It is easy to get caught up in a situation. When you feel your mind racing, simply remember that it just the present circumstance and recognize the emotion that you are feeling. This will enable you to step back, breath, and re-focus your energy.

5. Add Value to Someone Else's Life

Give someone a compliment. It can be anybody, anywhere. Sharing compliments is way to spread love, and doing this will give you a sense of instant gratification and love. Who knows, you might even make a new great friend!

6. Exercise Regularly

Keep a regular exercise routine. Psychologists have proven that when you keep a regular workout routine, it will boost your confidence levels that can last throughout the week. Join a local gym or commit to running/walking and do this 2-3 times per week.
